So for the past few years I’ve let writing, which was once a huge part of my life, fall by the wayside. My mind has turned to mush and now that I want to get back my focus, I find myself faced with the most monumental case of writer’s block known to man. I have to unclog and clutter my mind before I can write, organise my thoughts but I’m all over the place. So where do you even start? Turns out that this blog, just sitting here typing my thoughts out, is already helping. Just have to find a worthwhile idea, and so I’ve been rooting through my old work – the one or two scraps of it I could find – and I have found an idea that I am thinking of reworking and expanding. It’s a short story entitled Vanished, and it’s a strange dream, surreal mundane crazy stillness. Perhaps when I’m done with it I’ll post it here. However, I have zero readers so nobody will see it. How DO you get people to read a blog? Should probably work on that….
